Description

Most of the 3mm tooling that is available have a 1/8th inch(3.175mm) shank diameters. It is always a good idea to use the correct sized collet for your cutter. Therefore it is not a good idea to use a 1/8th inch (3.175mm) shanked cutter in a 3mm collet. Its best to use the correct collet. Similarly a lot of larger cutters have 1/4 inch (6.35mm) shank cutters.
